From December 2009 to December 2010 Neco Marine and the Palau Pacific Resort are celebrating their 25th anniversary with special events and packages, and the publication of the new book "Celebrating Palau".
The annual Palau Fishing Derby featuring the Etpison Cup is held every May at Neco Marine's Drop-off Bar and Grill, with the proceeds being donated to the Belau National Hospital.
Neco and its sister company Neco Yamaha are also major sponsors of the Palau Conservation Society and the annual Palau Boat Race held in October every year.Drop-off Bar and Grill have also been host to the film crews of the American Survivor(twice!) and the French Survivor crew, as well as the Hokule'a and Maisu traditional canoes that sailed here from Hawaii.
